Round-trip transportation

All tours from Munich include round-trip transportation to Neuschwanstein Castle. If the transportation included is by bus it will take you directly to the castle, if it's by train it will take you to Fussen and then your guide will lead you to the bus to get to the castle.

Neuschwanstein Castle can only be reached by walking there using the street or the hiking trail, or by taking the bus departing from Hohenschwangau included in the ticket. You can get back to the city on foot or by bus, or with the horse-drawn carriage included in the ticket, when operational.

Food

There is a cafeteria inside the castle, just remember that it only accepts cash as payment. There is also a restaurant a bit down the road, close to the castle, otherwise there is a wide range of places to eat and drink in town.
